The MBTI® can be an excellent instrument for team building because of its positive approach to differences and the strengths these bring to teams. All too often however, time and energy is lost by letting differences become a stumbling block rather than a stepping-stone. To make the most of the gifts types bring it is important to help our teams actively appreciate and accommodate opposing approaches which is why we are offering this workshop.
What will I learn?
This workshop will show you how to build and use a team profile to enable more effective and harmonious working. During the 2 days we will explore:
- What each type brings to the team and how they like to be appreciated for their contributions
- How different types view change and what they need to get behind it
- Process and outcome related approaches to projects and deadlines
- Improving communication and meetings, whatever your type
- Working effectively together – gifts differing
Who is it for?
You may be a line manager, trainer, facilitator or just interested in how people work together but you will need to have a basic understanding of type to participate fully. If you are unsure whether you have enough understanding, contact Ann at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a one to one session before the workshop,
Ann O’Sullivan brought MBTI to the UK over 37 years ago and makes MBTI accessible, making it understandable and relevant. Ann has facilitated MBTI workshops in in Europe, Finland, Australia and many places in-between. She was the first Chair and Second President of BAPT (The British Association for Psychological Type). For 20 years she was an Associate Trainer for OPP running the sponsored workshops.
